Methodological Premises for Systemisation or Knowledge on the Police Sciences

Abstract
The article analyses some methodological premises as fundamental guidelines for systematic approach to the development of law and action concerned with the police sciences. As the analyses reveals, the police sciences have been based on the premises of other disciplinary methodologies. So the relationship between police sciences and, for example, philosophy, sociology, psychology, law, etc. has been particularly evident. Nevertheless, the contemporary trend towards independent status of the police sciences has appeared as well.
The point is, those exterior disciplines and undertaken research from their perspectives appeared as being not sufficient in the sense they take an incidental character and are not corresponding to the multiple academic demands of contemporary practice and theory of police profession. This reason explains partly academic efforts put forward to sole some other important issues regarded with sociological facts, laws, development strategies as well as perspectives of the police knowledge.
In trying to pursue the rational approach towards the development of the police sciences some epistemological, praxiological and axiological research paradigms are being recommended by the article. The issues on the active and passive policing activity, the work on prevention of crimes, the problems of violence, discretion, prestige, accumulation of professional experience, links with society and some other topics are being advised to be of the primary importance for scientific approach in the newly appeared separate field of knowledge on the police profession.
