Modeling Fitness of Officials: Frontier Guard Units

Abstract
The article analysis physical preparedness of 2 frontier guard units' officers of Lithuania. There are discussed of physical preparedness index overages of different age group officers. Such components of physical preparedness are examined: tenacity, endurance of stomach, arms and shoulders muscles, running speed and swiftness, quickness, body and stomach strength and tenacity of arms muscles. 134 police officers took part in research. Physical preparedness estimation standards for different age group officers are presented.
Comparative analysis of physical preparedness of two frontier guard units' officers demonstrated high level of officers' endurance in both units. Analysing results of pulling to the bar become clear that indexes in both frontier guard units and all age groups do not vary much. Results of 10x10 shuttle run test revealed tendency that increase of age decreases results in all age groups. Results of 100 m run in all age groups comparing both frontier guard units statistically do not separate. Results of arm bending and stretching it paring a floor in two minutes statistically do not vary only in 1st age group. Summing up points of all age groups turned out that police officers from Galiniai frontier guard unit gathered + 6 points while officers from Lazdijai frontier guard unit gathered +15 points. This index shows that estimation of officers physical preparedness in Lazdijai frontier guard unit leads to + 9 points to officers from (Galiniai frontier guard unit. Thus common physical preparedness of officers from Lazdijai frontier guard unit considers being better than it is possible.
