Abstract

The manifestation of the common good and the manifestation of the individual rights and interests are always the subject of major importance in the legal discussions. The political societies often overestimate one or another manifestation. The international opinion and the doctrine of the Church have their own position regarding this problem. Also it is useful to keep in mind the evolution of the legal systems. The International Declaration of Human Rights and the teaching of the Catholic Church could enable us to understand more clearly the content of the common morality, common order, common opinion in the context of the common good and the individual rights.
