Abstract
This article deals with the course of the police science in Lithuania from it’s very first steps till the occupation of Lithuania in the summer 1940. It describes action of the Higher police school in Kaunas and the Lower police school in Rokiškis in 1922–1926, action of the Police school in 1926–1940. It lights up the role of this school in the education of qualified police personnel and in the course of the police science in Lithuania in 1922–1940.
