Abstract

In the article agression is discussed. The most serious criminal form of agression against the person is premeditated murder. There is a scientific reason to explain how does individual aggression and aggresion of small and big groups is of effect to premeditated murders.
The word „aggression“ comes from Latin and denotes individual and social conduct. Theoretically there are two opposing attitudes towords aggression: according to the ethical– humanistic one, aggression contradicts the primary human essence. According to the evolutionary– genetic one, aggression is an instinct and it serves to life preservation. The doctrine of free will and individual responsibility does not explain the multicausality of most crimes including homicides. Human behaviour can not be explained by psychopatology or genetics alone. Only complex doctrine can explain aggressive behaviour, deviations of which is meaningful to criminology.
In the article aggression is analized at three levels: individual, small groups and society. Phenomena of aggresion at all those levels are related.
The author throws light on variuous theories of aggression and comes to the conclusion that the appraisal of aggression from the position of the victim’s comprehension is not an optimum theoretical decision.
The author studied the personality of the offenders commited premeditated murders. The study aims at denoting some characteristic set of conditions and psychological mechanisms of aggressive behaviour describing aggression as criminal offence and how does aggresiveness relate to premeditated murders. The author comes to the conclusion that aggressive behaviour is not characteristic feature of persons that comitted premeditated murders.
