Abstract
The purpose of this study is to focus attention on the types of individuals and groups that are prone to terrorism in an effort to understand better the terrorism phenomenon. The study examines the relevant literature and assesses the current knowledge of the subject. The study seeks to describe theories of terrorism and psychological profiles of foreign terrorists individuals and selected groups.
The article also deals with assessing the latest literature on psychological aspects of terrorism, including the newest findings on terrorists decision-making process, cognitions, and personality.
