Abstract
International documents, such as the Universal Human Rights Declaration, European Union Main Rights Charter, European Social Charter, International Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Pact, and the European Imprisoning Institutions Regulations predicate human, including convicted, right to social security. Personal (including convicted) right to social security in Lithuania is regulated by the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania, the Penitentiary Code of the Republic of Lithuania and other supplementing legal acts.
