Abstract
The application of computer-based systems during the developing of legislation is growing. The use of computer-based technologies in the legislative process should lead to increased efficiency of the process and contribute to the quality of the legislation being developed.
Computer-based tools targeted at the improving quality of legislation are used mainly for supporting uniform drafting, analysis of completeness, formal consistency and consistency as far as contents are concerned, and effect analysis of legislation. The paper gives an overview of methods and techniques used in legislation drafting and analysis systems for solving these problems.
