Abstract

The article analyses legal regulation of social relations in the sphere of labour market taking into account main tendencies of its transformation in Russia a well as in foreign states The article deals with current problems in regulating labour relations such as the need to create new guarantees in the sphere of employment taking into consideration new types employment; increasing tendency to employ people on the basis of civil contracts; problems related to temporary employment contracts; part-time work; extension of boundaries of informal sector in labour market; problems related to the activity of non-governmental employment organisations, etc.
The said problems in Russia are to be solved by drafting recommendations for improving the respective legal basis. International norms and principles embodied in the documents of International Labour Organisation are to be taken into account. The article surveys existing problems and methods to solve them, presents views expressed in various congresses and conferences. The article is also based on sociological and economical research which confirms the existence of the said problems and helps to estimate their scope.
