##plugins.themes.bootstrap3.article.main##
Abstract
One of the main preconditions of the effective prevention of crimes, committed by persons who previously committed a crime, is a full and detailed official statistical reports, reliable sources of data and another sorts of information which reflects situation. There are a lot of problems closely connected with that sphere and accordingly some ways to improve it in Lithuania.
The informative supply of recidivism prevention has to contain three levels of information: social information (social, economical, population statistics, culture); special social information about an ex-prisoners social adaptation in society (by sex, by age, able-bodied persons, state of health, economic conditions, financial position, living space and other); criminal law and criminology information (primary crime, punishment, characteristic of crime committers and convicted persons). Three levels of information like a system are necessary for effectual secondary crime prevention. At this moment in Lithuania there is no system of information about an ex-prisoners adaptation in society and their further crime prevention.
