Straipsnyje apžvelgiama gamtotvarkos planų rengimo situacija Lietuvoje, nagrinėjamos vertinimo ir peržiūrų teisinės nuostatos, jų kaitos tendencijos, taikymo ypatumai bei praktika. Analizuojamos gamtotvarkos planų peržiūrų charakteristikos ir periodiškumas. Remiantis pasirinkto regioninio parko gamtotvarkos planų ir veiklos ataskaitų analize, daroma išvada, jog peržiūros metu vidinis vertinimas yra atliekamas, nors veiklos ataskaitose jis nedetalizuojamas.
