##plugins.themes.bootstrap3.article.main##
Abstract
On the basis of social cognitive attachment theory the article reviews different aspects of internal working models: 1) the conception and structure (the main components and hierarchy of working models); 2) the development and functioning (stability and change in working models); 3) the activation and information processing; 4) the functions (role of working models in selective attention, memory retrieval, emotional responses, personality’s plans and reactions); 5) the peculiarities of working models and manifestation of misbehaviour (aggressive reactions). In conclusion it is emphasized, that from the social cognitive perspective the misbehaviour may be viewed as the outcome of insecure working models functioning.
