The Scope of the journal Intellectual Economics is oriented to the submission of quality research articles, first of all, concerned with the new methodological approaches in researches of Intellectual Economics and Knowledge-Economy.

Intellectual Economics welcomes manuscripts but is not limited to in the following research areas:

  • Innovative Investment Evaluations and Management
  • Costs and Effect of Smart/Financial Technologies (Blockchain, Crypto Economies)
  • Sustainable Development of New Economy and Social Technologies, its Ecological Costs
  • Intellectual Capital Evaluation (Impact Assessment and Human Resources Management)
  • Effective Strategic Administration and Social Responsibility
  • Intellectual Property Rights: Economic Efficiency, Infringements
  • Talent Development in Emerging and Transitional Economies
  • Economic Security (incl. Shadow Economy)


Periodicity. The journal Intellectual Economics was initiated in 2007. June, December issues per year.

Peer review. Submitted articles are reviewed by applying the double-blind method (the identities of the author(s) and reviewers are kept unknown). Each article is appointed at least two referees (scientists with a degree in the relevant field).

Indexation. Intellectual Economics is included in the SCOPUS, EBSCO Publishing, Inc. (EconLit), C.E.E.O.L., PROQUEST and  ULRICH'S international databases.

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
