Abstract
In practical situations, a policeman before applying the weapon frequently experiences physical difficulties while pursuing and engaging the suspect. In this article the influence of the physical tension on the results of shooting is considered. Every person responds to the causes of stress diversely, consequently different groups of causes and types of stressful reactions are distinguished. As it is not possible to simulate the identical situations of tension the officer sustains while being on service, this particular circumstances were substituted for the physical difficulties and therefore used as the basis of the research.
