The possibilities of smoking prevention in high-school

Abstract
The main goal of this article was to evaluate the effectiveness of psychological smoking prevention among the high-school students. In the research 300 students took part, 120 of them took part in the prevention activities. The data showed that psychological smoking prevention in high school is effective in coping with increase of smoking intensity. During the half of the year among the students', who didn’t took part in the prevention program, the number of the daily smoked cigarettes (among both sexes) and the amount of monthly spend money for the cigarettes (among girls) significantly increased. These indicators haven’t changed among students who took part in the prevention program.
