Social exclusion of the homeless

Abstract
The aim of this paper is to address the living conditions of homeless people and to explore the reasons which determine the social exclusion of homeless men and women. The concept of homelessness is analyzed in this paper. It is reminded that homelessness is not a phenomenon of our time alone. The causes of homelessness are analyzed, especially the specificity of the life of homeless women. Homelessness is treated as a continuous process.
Social demographic characteristic, living conditions (employment and unemployment, income, lodging) and social relations (possession of documents, social insurance, social needs and resources, knowledge of social privileges, relations with other people) of homeless people are analyzed in the context of the results of the survey.
