consists of three parts. The first part presents legal basis of Lithuanian Controllers institution and development of relevant legal regulation. The second part analyses the functions and powers of Lithuanian Parliamentary ombudsman. The results of the analysis of the Seimas Controllers activity are presented in the third part of the article.
