Abstract
fulfillment is monitored by international human rights bodies, which use different procedures, for example litigation, states reporting. International institutions that recently have assessed Lithuania's progress on subject matter, have found instances of violation of right not to be tortured, recommended to improve national legislation, its enforcement, to ratify international documents.
