Abstract
The purpose of this article is to review the range of financial instruments available in Lithuania, highlighting their role in the overall financial system and revealing the peculiarities of the structure of investors in financial instruments. The attention of the article is firmly focused on the grouping of investors in financial instruments and analysis of their structure, based on the study of comparative historical data and other macroeconomic indicators, as well as possible development prospects. The methods used include logical and comparative analysis of science literature and legal acts, the study and generalization of statistical data.
