Survey of Sexual Behaviour and Knowledge on HIV/AIDS of Men Having Homosexual Intercourses

Abstract
The paper is aimed to analyse the results of sexual behaviour and HIV/AIDS knowledge survey in men having sex with men. Insufficient knowledge on HIV transmission modes and on prevention means increase vulnerability, may result into risky behaviour and increase a risk of HIV infection. High awareness on HIV/AIDS issues is one of the factors that determine high vigilance and responsible actions. Survey results proved statistically significant relation between one's knowledge on HIV/AIDS and risky sexual behaviour (e.g., condom use or non-use while having sex). The better knowledge on HIV/AIDS, the more frequently condoms are used while having sex, e.g. a person cares more about own health and acts safer.
