Abstract

In this document political, economic, social and cultural aspects of globalisation are presented. Positive and negative effects of globalisation on the economic and overall social welfare will be explored. This document contains successful examples of global economies, as well as impact of globalisation on countries in transition. Since the increase of multinational companies is one of essential features of economic globalisation, a part of the document is devoted to the consideration of their role in this process. At the end this document, the expected future challenges in that process are presented.
