Abstract

The article deals with the concept of a relatively new social phenomenon, namely, customs logistics. The authors seek to draw the attention of the scientific community to the changes in logistics determined by globalisation and integration processes and new functions of customs in exercising supervision of international trade, regulating and controlling it. It is pointed out that the goals and objectives of the entities carrying out these activities (states, organisations, companies) do not necessarily coincide, hence scientific research into this phenomenon should involve an international integrated team of researchers and scientific partnership.
