Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • The language of the articles is Lithuanian or English.
  • The authors should present an electronic version of an article, written in Microsoft Word application in Times New Roman fonts, size -12 pt. The manuscript should be 1 spaced on one side of an A4 list of paper, margins at least 25 mm each. The article must have between 6,000 and 10,000 words in length (should be a minimum 8 – maximum of 16) pages. Upon a separate permission of the editor, a longer article may be published. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided, all URLs must be active.
  • Figures (pictures, charts, and diagrams) and tables should be put in the place of the text near where they are first referred to. The text in the figures and tables must be 10 pt size, single-spaced. Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals in order of their appearance in the text with titles at the bottom for figures and at the top for tables, indicating the source.
  • Citation in the text according to Harvard style. The list of references must be formed following the Harvard reference style (https://www.mendeley.com/guides/harvard-citation-guide). The list of references is arranged alphabetically and for the same author chronologically. All cited references must be listed and, vice versa, the list of references must include only those cited in the text.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

  • As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • Every article will be reviewed by two members of the Editorial Board or by its appointed experts. Authors should correct the manuscript taking into account the remarks of reviewers and editors. The electronic copy of the corrected paper is to be presented to Editorial Board no later than one week after obtaining the review.

Structure of paper 

A paper should include the following parts:

· the title of a paper;

· authors names and surnames;

· affiliation institutions which the authors represent, they post and e-mail addresses;

· Abstract should be limited between 300 and 400 words in the same language as the paper (Lithuanian or English); a concise and factual abstract is required. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions;

· the list of keywords (3-6 main words or concepts);

· the introduction (include research objectives and it‘s aim, methodology applied, review of literature sources, and other common premises);

· the body of a paper presenting the results of research. The text may be divided into chapters and smaller units with suitable titles.

· the conclusions or generalizations; conclusions should also consist of recommendations, how to deal with research problem in future.

· the appendices (if it is necessary);

· the list of references must be formed following the Harvard reference style (https://www.mendeley.com/guides/harvard-citation-guide). The list of references is arranged alphabetically and for the same author chronologically. All cited references must be listed and, vice versa, the list of references must include only those cited in the text;

· the title of the paper, full names of authors, the names of affiliation institutions, summary, keywords of the paper written in Lithuanian should be presented also in English.
