IMPACT OF PRACTICAL CONSTRAINTS ON PROMOTING THE SUSTAINABILITY OF MOROCCAN PUBLIC PROCUREMENT

Abstract
This article aims to analyze the determining factors for the adoption of sustainable procurement in Moroccan public bodies. It also aims to highlight the impact of several practical constraints on the development of sustainability in public procurement. Thus, our methodology is exclusively quantitative and relies on a survey conducted through a questionnaire targeting a sample of 410 officials in the field of public procurement. The collected data were analyzed using the partial least squares method (SmartPLS). The study highlights the importance of implementing public policies to promote sustainable procurement, as well as the need to strengthen governance, training, awareness, and dissemination in this field.
