Abstract
The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of the number of Internet and social network users on indicators of citizens’ trust in the government and the level of public participation in politics. The study employs correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and the descriptive method. The impact of indicators of citizens’ trust in the government and public participation in political life on the electronic government (e-government) development rate is analyzed. The results of the study can be useful for the elaboration of digital development strategies for states, taking into account the connections and impacts identified.
